Trinet News | August 16: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to undertake an extensive tour of Mulugu district on Sunday. As part of his visit, he will visit the tribal goddesses Sammakka-Saralamma at Medaram and perform special rituals. Later, he will participate in various welfare and development programs.
At Medaram, the Chief Minister will distribute sanction letters to beneficiaries of the Cheyutha social security pensions. He will also inaugurate a water purification plant set up for the convenience of devotees. Afterward, he will reach the Mulugu district headquarters to kick off several development projects.
In addition to inaugurating the new integrated collectorate building in Mulugu, the Chief Minister will lay foundation stones and inaugurate various development works worth approximately Rs 868 crore across the district. Officials believe these programs will further boost infrastructure development in Mulugu district.
Crucially, Mulugu will serve as the venue for a massive state-wide rural road development initiative estimated at Rs 16,007 crore. The Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for this program, which aims to develop 2,145 roads spanning approximately 7,448 kilometers across the state. Locals hope that improving roads, drinking water, education, medical facilities, and transportation in tribal areas like Mulugu will significantly enhance living standards.
There is also keen anticipation regarding the Chief Minister's address during his Mulugu tour. He is expected to make key announcements regarding district development, tribal welfare, road construction, and the development of Medaram. Overall, CM Revanth Reddy's visit to Mulugu holds high significance both politically and in terms of development. The district's residents are eagerly awaiting the tour, which spans from the darshan of the tribal goddesses to the launch of massive development works.
