Chikkadpally, Trinet News August 16: The annual anniversary celebrations of Srivagdevi Natyasthal were held at Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha in Chikkadpally. Dance Guru Nirmala Prabhakar, founder of Kanakadurga Marchalayam, attended the event as the chief guest and inaugurated it by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Speaking on the occasion, she emphasized the importance of passing on Indian culture to future generations. Following the inauguration, various captivating dance performances were presented, including Mahishasura Mardini, Shiva Tandavam, Prahlada Pattabhishekam, Ragamalika ragam, Kaalabhairavashtakam, Ragamalika ragam, Sanchara adhaara, Anandabhairavi ragam, and Adi taalam items such as 'Alarulu Kuriyaga' from Sankarabharanam.
