NALGONDA DISTRICT IN-CHARGE: VISWANATH
NALGONDA: Bhanu Prakash, a student of Aakanksha High School who showcased exceptional talent to win a bronze medal at the national-level kabaddi tournament, was grandly felicitated on the occasion of Independence Day.
Bhanu Prakash displayed remarkable performance and clinched the bronze medal in the national-level under-17 boys' kabaddi competitions held in 2025 under the auspices of the School Games Federation of India (SGFI). He was felicitated grandly during the event held on August 15.
Telangana State Minister for Roads & Buildings and Cinematography Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Nalgonda District Collector Chandrasekhar, and Nalgonda Mayor Burri Chaitanya congratulated Bhanu Prakash and honored him with an award. District DYSO Akbar Ali also specially congratulated Bhanu Prakash and praised his achievement at the national level.
Coach Avula Chandrasekhar, who played a pivotal role in shaping Bhanu Prakash into a national-level athlete, was also appreciated on this occasion. Several speakers noted that Bhanu Prakash's victory is a testament to his hard work and determination, as well as the effective training provided by coach Avula Chandrasekhar.
Management, teachers, and students of Aakanksha High School congratulated Bhanu Prakash for bringing glory to Nalgonda district at the national level.
