Chikkadpally, Trinet News, August 16: Former Telangana Police Housing Corporation Chairman Koleti Damodar Gupta stated that everyone should become a partner in social service. Under the auspices of Mohan Trust, the 'Cine, Lalitha Geetha Gandharvam' event was grandly organized at the Kala Venkata Kala Dikshitula Kalavedika in Tyagaraya Ganasabha.
Attending the program as the chief guest, Damodar Gupta inaugurated it by lighting the traditional lamp along with Surya Narayana, Hanumantha Raya Sharma, Ramesh, Viroba, and KLG Prasad. On this occasion, Kovela Seshu Kumar's team captivated the audience with film songs, while composer-lyricist 'Kalaga' Krishna Mohan's team—consisting of Seelam Ramana, Tirupati Reddy, Madhavi, and Amrutavalli Bhashyam—delighted the gathering with light music (lalitha geetalu). Renowned senior playback singer from both Telugu states, Nirmala Kamesh, also entertained with her vocals. A Telugu poetry symposium (kavitagoshthi) was conducted under the leadership of K. Mohan Rao.
Organizer Gandhi stated that as part of Mohan Trust's prestigious initiative to distribute one lakh kilograms of rice to the poor, 15,699 kg of rice has been distributed so far, and the target of one lakh kg will be reached soon.
