Former Minister Samudrala Venugopala Chari has called for the protection and preservation of Telugu culture and traditions.
Hyderabad, Trinet News 11: The "Sakala Kalala Sammelanam" event was grandly organized on the main stage of Thyagaraya Gana Sabha in Chikkadpally to celebrate the birthday of Usha Music and Cultural Organization Secretary Malladi Usha Rani. Attending the event as the chief guest, Samudrala Venugopala Chari inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the traditional lamp alongside Vamsi institutions founder Dr. Vamsi Ramaraju, renowned singer Trinadh Rao, and prominent numerologist Daivagna Sharma.
Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the Usha Music and Cultural Organization for organizing such exceptional programs and encouraging traditional arts and artists.
Prior to the meeting, under the management of Malladi Usha Rani, performances by prominent male and female playback singers, Annamacharya sankeertanas by devotional music artists, as well as folk kolatam and Kuchipudi dance performances captivated the audience. Malladi Vishnu Kumar also participated in the event.
