Nalgonda District In-charge: Viswanath, HALIA: The governing body of the Fishermen Cooperative Society in Peruru village, Anumula mandal, was elected unanimously. On this occasion, Buyya Parmesh Mudiraj was unanimously elected as the chairman of the society. The new governing body members were announced during a program held on August 12 under the chairmanship of Election Officer D. Sumanand. It was declared that Buyya Parmesh Mudiraj was elected as chairman, Gopanaboyina Chinna Pullayya as vice-chairman, and Bairu Kondal as secretary. Gopanaboyina Lingayya, Jinakala Ramanjaneyulu, Gopanaboyina Saidulu, Rayanaboyina Shankar, Edavalli Pedda Mallayya, and SK Azgar were elected as directors. The members expressed happiness that, ever since the inception of the fishermen cooperative society, the society members and villagers have been moving forward with a consensus, and that this time too, the governing body was elected unanimously. They hoped that the new governing body would work collectively for the development of the society.
