Khairatabad District Women's Congress President Shambhula Ushashree Srikanth Goud has called for making the massive protest rally, scheduled to be held in Hyderabad on the 28th of this month protesting the attitude of the Central Election Commission, a success. She spoke at a press meet held on Sunday.
She requested women Congress leaders to participate in large numbers and make the protest program a success, which is being organized under the leadership of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud and as per the directives of Telangana Pradesh Women's Congress President Errabelli Swarnakka.
She informed that as per the directives of AICC and All India Women's Congress, the rally will start on Monday, the 28th of this month, at 10:30 AM from the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statue near Tank Bund - Liberty and continue up to the State Election Commission office. She stated that an effigy burning program will be conducted thereafter in protest of the Election Commission's attitude.
She called upon district women's vice-presidents, general secretaries, secretaries, women leaders belonging to all divisions in the district, and activists to attend in large numbers and make the program a success.
