The Ganesha Navaratri celebrations at Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi Devasthanam are continuing with utmost devotion and grandeur. As part of the celebrations, a special Sundara Kanda Parayanam programme was organized in the temple premises on Tuesday, the 9th day.
A group led by Smt. Vijaya Lavanya performed the Sundara Kanda Parayanam with great devotion, immersing the devotees in a divine experience. Since morning, the temple premises bustled with the arrival of devotees. Following special prayers and archana offered to Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi Swamy, the Sundara Kanda Parayanam commenced.
During the parayanam, the temple premises resonated with the chanting of Sri Rama's name, devotional songs, and mantras. Devotees who participated in the programme listened to the parayanam with deep devotion and sought the blessings of the Lord. The organizers stated that this programme was conducted with the aspiration that the Sundara Kanda Parayanam instills courage, self-confidence, and devotion among devotees, and brings peace and happiness to families.
Devotees attended along with their families, participated in special prayers, and had the darshan of Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi Swamy. The organizers revealed that various types of pujas, parayanams, bhajans, and spiritual programmes are being conducted daily at the temple on the occasion of the Navaratri celebrations, along with special darshan arrangements for devotees. In view of the celebrations, the temple has been beautifully decorated with flowers and electric lights, enhancing its divine splendor.
On this occasion, members of Smt. Vijaya Lavanya's troupe continued the Sundara Kanda Parayanam with utmost devotion, while the devotees also joined in chanting the name of Rama. After the conclusion of the programme, a special aarti was performed, and teertha prasadam was distributed to the devotees.
Temple organizers stated that the spiritual programmes being conducted as part of the Navaratri celebrations are receiving an overwhelming response from devotees. They expressed their wish that with the grace of Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi Swamy, all people should live with good health, happiness, and prosperity.
