The MeeSeva server in Hyderabad is malfunctioning, causing severe inconvenience to citizens and students who are visiting the centers from morning till night for various tasks. With no clarity on when the server will function, people are waiting for hours at the centers.
Recently, students who joined engineering courses for the 2026-27 academic year have been rushing to MeeSeva centers to apply for government-provided scholarships. As the last date for application is only until the 25th of this month, parents along with their children are rushing to the centers.
To apply for the scholarship, biometric verification must first be completed at MeeSeva centers, after which the application needs to be uploaded at online centers. Since the biometric server has not been accessible at MeeSeva centers for a week, many students are facing difficulties.
Even after waiting from morning till night, the server does not come online, forcing them to return home disappointed. Several students complained that when they asked MeeSeva staff about this, they replied that they know nothing and can only act if instructions come from higher authorities.
