On the occasion of his 111th birth anniversary on Sunday, village sarpanch Kompalli Saidulu and villagers paid rich tributes by garlanding the portrait of Acharya Konda Laxman Bapuji at the Ammanabolu Gram Panchayat office premises.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarpanch Saidulu stated that the role played by Konda Laxman Bapuji in the separate Telangana statehood movement is unforgettable. He noted that the services rendered by him to the Padmashali community can never be forgotten. He called upon the youth to take Bapuji's ideals as inspiration and come forward in social service.
