The silver jubilee celebrations and foundation day of the Indian Bank Retirees Association (IBRA), Hyderabad, were grandly conducted on Wednesday. The event took place from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Madam Anjaiah Memorial Hall in the premises of the Munnuru Kapu Student Hostel in Kachiguda.
Marking the successful completion of 25 years of service by IBRA, former Indian Bank Managing Director and CEO Padmaja Chunduru attended and inaugurated the celebrations as the chief guest. Noted cine actor Tanikella Bharani participated as a distinguished guest and inspired the members with his speech.
Indian Bank Hyderabad FGM M. Sreeramachandra Babu, KIMS-Renova Cancer Institute Chief Medical Oncologist Dr. P.S. Dattatreya, Indian Bank Hyderabad Zonal Manager K. Srinivas, and Malkajgiri Zonal Manager K. Saiprasad attended as guests of honor. Noted poet and film lyricist Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao entertained the audience with poetry and comedic parodies as part of a special performance, which stood as a special attraction of the event.
On this occasion, speakers recalled the association's 25-year journey and the programs undertaken for the welfare of retired bank employees. They appreciated IBRA's services in resolving members' issues, protecting rights, and addressing health and welfare matters. They called for strengthening unity among members and continuing service activities in the future. Commemorating the silver jubilee, association members exchanged greetings with one another.
