The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation has announced a comprehensive overhaul of its waste management strategy, introducing a slew of citizen-centric services slated to begin in August 2026.
A key highlight of the upcoming initiative is the 'Divine Waste Collection Drive', a monthly special campaign specifically designed to handle sacred and ritual-related organic waste generated across households and religious sites.
In addition to this, the civic body is launching a convenient QR code booking system for bulky waste. Residents looking to dispose of large household items, old furniture, or renovation debris can now schedule pickups digitally with minimal hassle.
Municipal officials believe these targeted measures will significantly curb illegal dumping, improve local sanitation standards, and leverage technology to make city-wide waste management more efficient and responsive.
