Demanding a caste census as part of the national population census, a separate column for OBCs, and caste-wise enumeration for OBCs just like SCs and STs, the BC Intellectual Forum and BC Political Front jointly organized a protest at the Martyrs' Memorial (Amaraveerula Stupam) near Gun Park.
The protest was attended by former Minister V. Srinivas Goud, BC Intellectual Forum Chairman and former IAS officer T. Chiranjeevi, BC Political Front Chairman Balagoni Balraju Goud, conveners Aili Venkanna Goud, S. Durgaiah Goud, Ambala Narayana Goud, Bairi Shekhar, BC Welfare Association President Mekopotula Narender Goud, and several other BC community leaders.
