Athletes who showcased their talent at the national level and brought fame to the Halia region were grandly felicitated. The felicitation program for the national athletes was held at Sri Shloka School in Halia, Anumula mandal. Sri Shloka Group of Schools Chairman Kukudala Anjaneyulu attended the event as the chief guest and felicitated the athletes.
Speaking on the occasion, he expressed his desire for the athletes to further hone their skills and reach greater heights. He stated that the importance of sports in a student's life is immense, noting that sports foster physical fitness, discipline, perseverance, and self-confidence alongside physical strength. He emphasized that everyone has a responsibility to encourage students who excel in sports.
