GHS Jamia Osmania students showcased their talent in HDSGF kabaddi and kho-kho competitions, securing second place in three categories and third place in another category.
Hyderabad, September 23 (Trinet News): Under the auspices of the Musheerabad SGF zone, the under-14 and under-17 boys and girls HDSGF kabaddi and kho-kho competitions concluded successfully. These competitions were held for three days from September 21 to 23 at St. Pius X High School in Ramnagar. Over 1,100 students from 32 schools enthusiastically participated in various categories of these sports events.
In the kabaddi and kho-kho competitions, the students of GHS Jamia Osmania displayed remarkable performance and clinched multiple positions. They secured second place in the under-14 girls kho-kho, under-17 girls kabaddi, and under-17 boys kabaddi categories. They achieved third place in the under-14 boys kabaddi category. Furthermore, they finished in fourth place in the under-17 girls kho-kho, under-14 girls kabaddi, under-14 boys kho-kho, and under-17 boys kho-kho categories.
Throughout the competitions, the students demonstrated teamwork, discipline, determination, and exceptional sportsmanship. The school management commended the dedication and talent of the students. The students achieved these victories under the guidance and encouragement of coaches and physical directors M. Srilatha and V. Manav Das.
