Hyderabad, Trinet News August 31: Led by the Youth Congress, activists staged a protest on Monday attempting to gherao the BJP Telangana state office in Abids, condemning the party's actions regarding AICC National President Mallikarjun Kharge and students in Bihar.

Speaking on the occasion, Youth Congress State President Jakkidi Shiva Charan Reddy expressed strong anger over BJP leaders purifying a temple after Kharge visited it recently. He also condemned the use of pellet guns against students in Bihar, demanding that Union Home Minister Amit Shah resign taking moral responsibility for the incident.

He stated that the public is closely observing the BJP's attitude towards Dalits and students and will teach them a fitting lesson in the coming days. Expressing outrage against the BJP, the protesters painted the rear gate of the office black and burned an effigy of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. This led to heated arguments between the police and Youth Congress cadres, creating a tense situation. Police immediately arrested the Youth Congress members and shifted them to various police stations.

Youth Congress Telangana State Co-Incharges Roshini Jaiswal and Bhavya, Shakti Super She State Coordinator Vidya Reddy, General Secretary Gurram Shyam Charan Reddy, Teja, Suryapet District President Elimineti Abhinay, and others participated in the program.
