Jadcherla MLA Anirudh Reddy strongly criticized the previous government for being responsible for various land issues. Speaking informally to media personnel outside the Assembly on Saturday, he announced that he would address the 22A land issue in the House.
He stated that they would expose the land scams of BRS leaders, alleging that ventures were illegally set up on government lands during the BRS regime. He recalled that the court had ordered these lands to be placed on the prohibited list.
Rejecting allegations against the current administration, he asserted that they are not the land grabbers, but rather the leaders of the past ten years who plundered the resources. He clarified that the claim of 1.16 crore acres falling under Section 22A is false. MLA Anirudh Reddy noted that lands ended up on the prohibited list due to mistakes that accumulated over the past 40 years.
