Movie Review: Star-studded and directed by Venky Atluri, "Viswanathan & Sons" hit the screens on August 14. Revolving around family bonds, love, emotions, and the choices we make in life, the film has been receiving a very good response from audiences since its opening days. Although the film was entirely produced in Tamil, it has plenty of elements that appeal to Telugu audiences as well.
Director Venky Atluri previously showcased his unique storytelling style with films like "Vaathi" and "Lucky Baskhar." This time too, he has crafted a story focusing primarily on family, human relationships, and emotions. However, rather than just being a love story or a family drama, it appears as an attempt to show life from a different perspective.
Suriya’s portrayal of Sanjay Viswanathan stands out as a major attraction in the story. Suriya is seen as an international pistol shooter striving to achieve his goal. The director has interestingly captured the emotional conflicts that arise when love enters the life of a person who refuses to give up his ambitions despite advancing age.
