New Delhi, Trinet News, September 22: The Union Ministry of Textiles has launched the 'Swachhata Hi Seva-2026' campaign to foster awareness among the public about cleanliness and a healthy lifestyle across the nation. This campaign will continue from September 17 to October 2 across all organizations under the purview of the Ministry.
This year's programs are being organized under the slogan 'Swachhata Mein Sahabhag – Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat'. The Ministry stated that the primary objective is to treat cleanliness as a collective responsibility and to conduct cleanliness drives extensively with public participation.
As part of the campaign, special cleanliness drives are being undertaken in office premises, educational campuses, and public places. Employees, students, civil society organizations, and local residents are being actively engaged to raise awareness about environmental protection, civic responsibility, and clean habits.
Marking the launch of the programs, a theme-based art poster making competition was held on September 18 at GPOA-3 in Netaji Nagar, New Delhi. Heads of various departments within the Ministry of Textiles visited office sections to review cleanliness conditions.
Officials called upon employees to maintain personal hygiene as well as keep their office surroundings clean to ensure the success of the goals set under 'Swachhata Hi Seva-2026'.
