To test someone's character, it is not enough to judge their words; one must give them an opportunity. If there is trust, responsibility should be handed over to them, and then their true nature will be revealed. We must observe how they behave after obtaining power and how they respect those who are junior to them.
It is not a big deal to appear good when one has no opportunity; the true greatness lies in maintaining that goodness even when an opportunity arises. Power does not change a person; it only brings out the character hidden within them. Money reveals the same truth.
If someone knows another person's weakness but chooses not to exploit it, it means their heart is good. That is the proof of true personality. When given an opportunity, does a person grow themselves, or do they try to rise by stepping on others? That is their real character and their true value.
It is not a position that makes a person great; rather, it is their behavior while holding that position.
