Hyderabad, Trinet News, September 08: In a rare feat, three members of the same family have been awarded PhD doctorates from the prestigious Osmania University.
Kukudala Anjaneyulu, Kukudala Haimavati, and Kukudala Balakrishna, hailing from the Halia municipality limits in Nalgonda district, received their doctoral degrees on Tuesday at the 85th convocation held at Tagore Auditorium, Osmania University, Hyderabad. The PhD degrees were presented to them by Bharat Biotech Chairman Dr. Krishna Ella and Osmania University Vice-Chancellor Professor Kumar Molugaram.
Kukudala Anjaneyulu completed his research in Commerce, Kukudala Haimavati in Botany, and Kukudala Balakrishna in Sociology to earn their doctorates. They stated that despite unfavorable family financial conditions and facing numerous hardships since childhood, they pursued higher education with unwavering determination. They expressed that receiving the highest educational degree from Osmania University is a matter of great joy and pride.
Currently, Anjaneyulu serves as the Chairman of Sri Shloka School in Halia town, Haimavati as the Special Officer of Anumula KGBV, and Balakrishna as the DCC General Secretary of Nalgonda district. They expressed gratitude to the professors, family members, and well-wishers who continuously encouraged their research. Family members, relatives, and friends expressed delight and congratulated them on three members of the same family achieving PhDs simultaneously.
