Hyderabad, Chikkadpally (Trinet News) September 1: Sponsored by the Department of Language and Culture of the Government of Telangana, in joint association with Kalpana Kala Niketan Hyderabad, a 'Telugu and Hindi Film Musical Night' was organized at the Kala Maruthi stage of Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha in memory of Jnanpith Award recipient Dr. C. Narayana Reddy.
Prominent lawyer, Kala Bandhu, and art patron Nagender, Vamsikrishna Pratap, and others participated as chief guests and inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. Prominent businessmen Ayodhya Ramayya, Lokam Krishnayya, Karnati Nagabhushanam, and Ramesh Goud participated in the event.
Prior to the main gathering, a musical concert managed by Donthi Jangayya Goud featured film songs rendered by singers Dr. Murali Mohan, Pradeep Chandra, K. Sudha Reddy, C.H. Jangayya, N. Ramamurthy, C. Kameswari, Mulladi Usha, Jyothsna, Rajani, and others, which enthralled the audience.
