Hyderabad, Trinet News, September 7: An unexpected development took place in the Telangana Assembly as Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar became emotional and shed tears while presiding over the House in the middle of a discussion.
In the afternoon session, the House discussed the inappropriate remarks made by BRS MLC Tata Madhu outside the Assembly in the morning. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and several ministers spoke, demanding the immediate cancellation of MLC Tata Madhu's legislative membership for using abusive language without respecting the constitutional position of the Speaker.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stated that the insult to the Speaker is an insult to civil society. He demanded the dismissal of Tata Madhu, who used language that cannot even be uttered. Meanwhile, BJP Legislative Party leader Aleti Maheshwar Reddy stated that the BJP condemns the language used by Tata Madhu and demanded the immediate dismissal of the member who used abusive language against the Speaker. During this ongoing discussion, Speaker Prasad Kumar was deeply moved and broke down in tears.
