Hyderabad, Ravindra Bharati, Trinet News, August 29: Tripura Governor N. Indrasena Reddy suggested that passive courses in universities should be redesigned by incorporating art forms aligned with students' interests, and teaching should be continued through advanced and technical methods.
On Saturday, the Mother Tongue Day and the 2026 Sanskriti Puraskaram presentation ceremony were grandly organized by the Late Mandali Venkata Krishna Rao International Telugu Centre at the Telugu University. Attending the event as the chief minister and chief guest, Tripura State Governor N. Indrasena Reddy expressed his view that the Telugu University should design technical curricula in a way that connects students' lives through fine arts and imparts worldly knowledge.
Dr. K.V. Ramanachari, former advisor to the Telangana state government, recalled that Mandali Venkata Krishna Rao was a selfless, true political leader who firmly believed that politics means public service. Avinagadda MLA Dr. Mandali Buddha Prasad expressed happiness, stating that Telugu people hold top positions in many parts of the country and are preserving the Telugu language and culture in their own unique ways.
Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy grandly presented the Sanskriti Puraskaram, established in the name of Mandali Venkata Krishna Rao, to Tiruvaluri Vangipuram Srinivas, advisor to the Pune Andhra Sangam, along with a cash prize of twenty-five thousand rupees, a special memento, and a shawl. The event was presided over by the university's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Veludanda Nityananda Rao.
