Teacher's Day was celebrated at the Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) in Patimatla under the auspices of the NEED voluntary organization. Founder and President of the NGO Kanuganti Srisailam, along with others, garlanded the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and felicitated the teachers.
Speaking on the occasion, Kanuganti Srisailam stated that today's students must fulfill their parents' aspirations, reach high positions, and take care of their well-being, adding that students are the true wealth of their parents and the nation. Local Sarpanch Banda Rama Vijaya Reddy attended as the chief guest and promised to play a proactive role in increasing student admissions at the school every year.
The event was presided over by High School Headmaster Miryala Damodar. During the program, district best teacher award recipient and Telugu teacher Darshanam Venkanna, along with high school and primary school headmasters, teachers, and Anganwadi teacher Pushpalatha, were felicitated.
The celebration saw the participation of ZPHS Patimatla teachers M. Lingamallu, G. Venkateswarlu, Bandaru Mallayya, Vanguri Yadaiah, PD Chirumarti Yadaiah, Erra Shankar, Tirupati Naik, V. Krishnaveni, SCOPE NGO Mandal Coordinator Kurimeti Yadaiah, Primary School Headmaster V. Praveen Kumar, teacher Vineeta, students, and scavenger Yadaiah.
