Take strict action against fake morphed images-BRS MLAs
Hyderabad, Trinet News, September 9: BRS legislative party members including MLAs Devireddy Sudheer Reddy, Bandaru Laxma Reddy, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, and MLC Madhusudhana Chari have submitted a representation to Telangana Law and Order DGP Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat, demanding an immediate investigation and legal action against individuals widely circulating fake, AI-generated morphed images and malicious propaganda targeting BRS MLAs and public representatives on social media and various digital platforms.
In their complaint, they stated that this fake digital content is being intentionally created and propagated to divert public attention from the attack and misbehavior directed against BRS women MLAs and other public representatives near the Telangana Assembly two days ago. The BRS legislative party noted that presenting AI-generated images as real spreads misinformation among the public and severely damages the reputation of elected representatives. They urged the cyber crime wing to immediately identify, investigate, and track down the individuals who created, uploaded, and promoted these fake, morphed, and AI-generated posts.
The BRS legislative party emphasized that creating and circulating fabricated digital content against elected representatives simply due to political differences is unacceptable. They also requested strict legal action against the police attitude during the Assembly incident, as well as against the concerned Congress leaders and activists, as per the law.
