TRINET NEWS - 24 AUGUST 2026: Andhra Pradesh Government Employees Joint Action Committee (JAC) President Bopparaju Venkateswarlu has given the government an ultimatum to immediately resolve employee issues and make a clear decision by the 28th of this month. He sternly warned that if the government neglects the long-standing problems of employees, a statewide strike will be inevitable.
Expressing anguish, Bopparaju noted that state government employees have been waiting for years for their pending issues to be resolved and that despite multiple discussions with the government, expected results have not materialized. He stated that delaying the legitimate demands of employees is not the right approach.
The AP Government Employees JAC is demanding immediate government decisions on pending financial matters, dearness allowance (DA) arrears, revision of pay scales, retirement benefits, and other staff welfare issues.
