Hyderabad, Trinet News, September 9: The ACP held a coordination meeting with mandap organizers within the Jeedimetla Police Station limits ahead of the upcoming Vinayaka Chavithi festival, offering key guidelines for a peaceful and smooth celebration.
The ACP advised organizers to avoid high-decibel sound systems and instruments, recommending the use of traditional bands and instruments instead. He also urged organizers and devotees to refrain from consuming alcohol and to steer clear of any anti-social or illegal activities during the festival.
Furthermore, the ACP instructed that all necessary safety precautions be taken for devotees at lakes, ponds, and other immersion sites during the Ganesh idol immersions. He requested the public to cooperate with the police to prevent any untiring incidents during the immersions.
The ACP appealed to both organizers and the public to extend their full cooperation to the police department to ensure the Vinayaka Chavithi festival is conducted peacefully, safely, and smoothly. Jeedimetla PS SHO K. Ravi Kumar, sector SIs Prem Sagar, Srinivas, Shyam Babu, Ramachandraiah, and other police personnel participated in the meeting.
