Hyderabad, Nacharam, Trinet News, September 5: Uppal MLA Bhandari Laxma Reddy has requested the setting up of a special free left at Habsiguda crossroads, keeping in view the difficulties faced by motorists heading from Nacharam towards Uppal. To this effect, he met GHMC Commissioner Vinay Krishna Reddy and explained the issue to him.

The MLA stated that due to the heavy daily movement of vehicles from Nacharam towards Uppal and Tarnaka, severe traffic congestion occurs at the Habsiguda crossroads. He noted that motorists are forced to wait for 10 to 12 minutes at the signal, and during peak hours, vehicles line up from Habsiguda up to the HMT Nagar arch. He pointed out that the lack of a dedicated free left for vehicles heading towards Uppal forces them to wait at the signal.

As a permanent solution to the problem, he requested the expansion of the road to the extent necessary for the free left. The MLA also mentioned that it had come to their attention that free lefts in several areas of the constituency have been encroached upon, and requested that these be inspected, cleared of encroachments, and made accessible to motorists.

Responding positively to the MLA's request, Commissioner Vinay Krishna Reddy assured that he would soon inspect the free lefts in the constituency and take necessary action.

BRS state leaders Sai Gen Shekhar, Vithal Yadav, Katta Buchanna Goud, Chandrasekhar, Narasimha, and others participated in the program.
