Hyderabad, Nampally, Trinet News, August 26: As part of the 80th Independence Day celebrations, the "Mera Bharat Mahan Dance Fest" was held at the Telangana Saraswatha Parishad. Horticulture Assistant Director D. Chakrapani attended as the chief guest, lighting the lamp to inaugurate the event. On this occasion, the 'Pride of India' awards were presented to individuals who have rendered notable service in various fields.
Speaking on the occasion, D. Chakrapani commended the initiative of recognizing and honoring achievers from diverse sectors. He expressed happiness that the Shikharam organization has been organizing unique programs to encourage artists, art forms, and social service workers.
The event was attended by International Wonder Book of Records Telangana State Coordinator Dr. Javvaji Anjaiah Goud, theater artist D. Nagender, Kathak Kalakshetra founder Anju Babu, social activist Dr. Veerabhoga Vasantha Rayalu, and organization president Golla Krishna, among others. Yogitha acted as the prominent anchor for the event.
