Osmania University, Trinet News, September 8: Dasi Pranshutha has won two gold medals in the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism at Osmania University. She received the gold medals and awards from the hands of the Telangana Governor and OU Chancellor during the university's 85th convocation held on Tuesday, bringing immense joy to her family.
Originally hailing from Koonaram village in Peddapalli district, Pranshutha was born in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Having studied in Kendriya Vidyalayas in Bengaluru and Warangal, she emerged as a topper in both her tenth grade and intermediate examinations. Later, she displayed exceptional academic excellence and topped her graduation at Dr. Babasahed Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU), subsequently completing her post-graduation in Mass Communication and Journalism at Osmania University.
Pranshutha is the daughter of former Indian Air Force officer Dasi Prabhakar and government teacher Kalpana. Dasi Prabhakar served in the Indian Air Force and also participated in the Kargil War, receiving a medal in recognition of his service to the nation. Her parents expressed that their daughter winning two gold medals is a matter of great pride for the family, noting that her achievement stands as a testament to her discipline, dedication, and perseverance.
