District Collector Tejas Nandalal Pawar has directed officials to give utmost priority to the Prajavani program, which serves as a platform for resolving public grievances.
Speaking at a review meeting held with district officials after the Prajavani program at the Integrated Collectorate office on Monday, he mandated that district-level officers must attend Prajavani every week without fail. As per government directives, he made it clear that all petitions received at both district and mandal levels must be uploaded to the online portal.
He ordered that pending applications from the old Prajavani portal be cleared on a war footing, while newly received applications must be uploaded to the portal in a timely manner. He specifically instructed officials of the respective departments to take special initiative to immediately resolve applications pending in the state Prajavani system. Every officer must immediately clear pending applications in their respective logins, failing which disciplinary action would be taken against them, he warned. He stated that measures must be taken to resolve public petitions within the stipulated timeframe without keeping them pending.
District officers were instructed to monitor mandal-level officials across all departments to ensure their mandatory attendance at the newly launched mandal-level Prajavani programs. He noted that resolving local issues at the mandal level itself would spare citizens from hardships.
A total of 70 applications were received during the program, which included 36 related to land issues, 7 to the DPO, 5 to the municipality, 3 to the DMHO, and 19 belonging to various other departments. He stated that these have been forwarded to the respective departments for resolution.
Additional Collector B. Harisingh, ZP CEO Sirisha, CPO Kishan, DAO Sridhar Reddy, DMHO Venkataramana, DPO Yadagiri, DWO Narasimha Rao, and other district officials participated in the program.
