BRSV leaders, along with polytechnic students, gathered at the head post office in Suryapet district to send postcards demanding the immediate cancellation of the Shakti Scheme (G.O. No. 97).
Speaking on the occasion, BRSV leader Bantu Sandeep stated that they have launched a postcard movement addressed to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, urging him to scrap the scheme as it is causing severe hardships to polytechnic students. He expressed deep concern that the Shakti Scheme is adversely affecting the future prospects of polytechnic students and urged the government to immediately resolve the challenges they are facing.
Sandeep criticized the government for taking decisions without considering student perspectives and demanded that policies be framed in the best interest of students. He warned that they will continue democratic protests on behalf of the students until the government responds to the issues faced by polytechnic students.
BRSV leaders Khamkampati Uday, Padidala Navaneeth, Bollam Vinay, Elagaboyina Vamshi, Sai, Venkat, Abhi, and others participated in the program.
