Hyderabad, Trinet News, September 17: Dr. J.M. Vyas, founding Vice-Chancellor of the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) and Padma Shri awardee, congratulated technical journalism expert Muddam Narasimha Swamy, who authored the book 'Artificial Intelligence in Modern Journalism'.

Dr. J.M. Vyas met with a delegation of Telangana journalists who visited the NFSU campus in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. On this occasion, Dr. Vyas examined the book written by Muddam Narasimha Swamy and praised his analysis of modern technology, artificial intelligence, and their applications in journalism. He specifically noted that the 'Metaverse' chapter from the book is currently being taught at their university. Following this, he felicitated Muddam Narasimha Swamy with a shawl. PIB IIS officer Varganti Gayatri and the Telangana journalists' delegation participated in this event.

Stating that the influence of artificial intelligence, metaverse, and digital technologies is growing in journalism, Dr. Vyas remarked that books covering these subjects will be immensely useful for journalists, media students, and researchers.

The delegation of Telangana journalists visited NFSU as part of a Gujarat tour organized under the auspices of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Hyderabad, to create awareness about forensic education and research. Dr. J.M. Vyas explained the university's education, research, and training programs, and provided insights into departments such as forensic science, behavioral science, cyber security, and digital investigation. Later, the journalists' delegation toured the advanced laboratories and inspected the infrastructure for cyber security and digital forensics.
