Haliya: As per the directives of the District Collector, Haliya Municipal Commissioner K. Ravinder Reddy held a special meeting with councilors, co-option members, and ward officers regarding the acceptance of applications for Cheyutha pensions.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner advised eligible individuals among widows, persons with disabilities, single women, toddy tappers, weavers, dialysis patients, and filariasis sufferers to apply for the Cheyutha pension. He stated that those who have already applied must also fill out the newly released government application form and submit it along with necessary updated certificates by August 31, 2026.
