Hyderabad, Chikkadpally, Trinet News, August 31: Navya Nataka Samithi President Vemaraju Vijayakumar and coordinators Nishtala Sudhamala and Madhumati Kulkarni announced at a press meet at the Samithi office that a dance workshop titled 'Jignasa' will be held on Sunday, September 6, to highlight the significance of Indian classical dance forms, selection of research topics, and paper-writing methods.
Sudhamala stated that at the workshop, which will take place at Sri Krishnadevaraya Andhra Bhasha Nilayam, prominent dance guru and Professor at Arizona State University, USA, Veluri Sumitra, will provide guidance on standard essay-writing methods in the research methodology of dance forms. On Monday, the wall poster for the event was unveiled at the Navya Nataka Samithi office by G. Vasundhara, Deputy Director of the State Treasury and Accounts Department, along with Samithi members.
Speaking on the occasion, Vasundhara said that this workshop will be immensely useful for university research scholars and dance artists who wish to write standard research papers in the field of dance. She congratulated the executive members of Navya Nataka Samithi for continuously organizing workshops and lecture programs in Indian classical dance and music, and for encouraging artists.
Samithi members Dr. Indira Hema and Vemaraju Ramadevi participated in the event.
