Hyderabad, September 5 (Trinet News): Marking the birth anniversaries of legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao and multifaceted icon Bhanumathi Ramakrishna, the Swaramadhuri Cultural Association organized the "Swaramadhuri 191st Musical Concert" on Saturday at the Kala Subbarao stage in Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha, Chikkadpally.
This special musical event was organized to commemorate the remarkable contributions of Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Bhanumathi to the film music industry. Singers entertained music lovers by performing classic film songs. A special presentation was also held to remember various heroines who acted alongside Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
Film scholar and Kalaratna S.V. Rama Rao attended the event as the chief guest. Swaramadhuri Cultural Association President Dr. K.V. Jayakumar and Secretary Sunil Prabhakar supervised the program.
Held from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM, the musical concert saw the participation of numerous singers, artists, and film music enthusiasts. The speakers on the occasion recalled the immense services rendered by Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Bhanumathi to the cinema world.
