Secunderabad, Trinet News, September 17: As part of 'Ganesh Suraksha Sankalp-2026', a road safety awareness program was organized on Thursday near the Ganesh pandal in the Old Jailkhana area under the limits of the Market Police Station.
Held under the auspices of the pandal organizers, the event was attended by Market Police Station SHO G. Ramakrishna, Sector SI K. Maheswari, Traffic Inspector G. Rajitha Reddy, and Sahachari members Shivani and Sharada.
On this occasion, around 80 devotees, youth, and local residents were sensitized about road safety and traffic rules. Police advised motorists and the public to act responsibly and follow traffic regulations during the festival.
They appealed to everyone to cooperate in ensuring that the Ganesh celebrations are conducted peacefully and safely. Participants also took a pledge on road safety during the event.
