Mark my words, you have no future, your lives are plunged in darkness, and coming back to power is just a dream; I will visit Sircilla by the end of this month. Seeing our governance, the 'brother-in-law and cousin' are crying out loud, remarked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in sharp comments.
Hyderabad, Trinet News, September 5: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that Congress would win 117 seats if the assembly constituencies increase in the upcoming elections, and 97 seats even if they do not. He challenged BRS and BJP, stating that Congress will be in power for a decade from 2024 to 2034. He warned that he would not let the BRS plant sprout in any election.
"I will come to Sircilla by the end of this month and hoist the tricolor flag... next month I will march on Siddipet, get ready," he challenged. CM Revanth Reddy toured Nakrekal constituency in Nalgonda district on Saturday. During the visit, the CM unveiled foundation stones for 12 development works worth Rs 345 crores and inaugurated a 100-bed government hospital in Nakrekal, inspecting its various departments.
Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, MPs Raghuveer Reddy, Kiran Kumar Reddy, TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, and Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham participated in the event. Later, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy addressed the gathering.
"The crop loan waiver you implemented was barely enough just for the interest. Some people are unable to digest the great schemes implemented during Congress's 1,000-day rule and are roaming from village to village. Compare the 10-year rule of BRS with our 1,000-day rule. KCR stepped down after deceiving farmers by promising the final Rythu Bharosa installment. We paid Rs 36,000 crores to farmers towards the Rythu Bharosa that you evaded, within 32 months. Crop procurements, Rythu Bharosa, and loan waivers were all cleared in 30 months.
Each of the one crore women in the state has saved up to Rs 10,000 per month. Free travel in RTC buses will continue in Indira's realm as long as the Congress government is in power. To make women crore-patis, we have involved them in all schemes. Did KCR ever provide free bus travel for women? Did he give any schemes like the ones we offer? KCR's curses, confined to his farmhouse, won't amount to anything. If you gave notifications, why didn't you make recruitments during your tenure? The Congress government provided 72,000 jobs in the very first year, like no other government in the country," CM Revanth Reddy emphasized.
"Roaming around like crows to loot the village"
"When KCR became CM, he made Harish Rao and KTR ministers. When I became CM, I gave minister posts, MP posts, and MLCs to everyone. When KCR became CM, a compound wall was built around five acres just for his statue. They are roaming around like crows to prey on villages and loot. Seeing our governance, the brother-in-law and cousin are crying out loud. They say I lack education, but I have decency—which is why you are like this. KTR dragged his own sister by the neck and drove her out when she came to tie Rakhi. You studied in Guntur, what did you do for Telangana? Fearing that they might have to give back Rs 10,000 crores out of the Rs 1 lakh crore looted by KCR in the state, they drove their own daughter out of the party and the home. Will you provide schemes for our women? Those who cannot look after their own sister, will they look after the welfare of the women in society?
We are ready to discuss any issue in the Assembly. You must come to the Assembly. If you have the guts, the father and son should come to the Assembly, and we will discuss all matters. KCR is drawing a salary of Rs 2.21 crores while staying in the farmhouse without attending the Assembly," CM Revanth Reddy stated.
