Hyderabad, Trinet News, August 29: In the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) 'C' Division One-Day League Championship, a match was played between Manikumar Cricket Club and New Stars Cricket Club. Powered by an outstanding all-around team performance from Prateek Rajaneni, Kanukuntla Sekhar Babu, Kongari Sri Vidhath, and Vedas Vuradi, Manikumar Cricket Club clinched a comprehensive 5-wicket victory.
Winning the toss, New Stars Cricket Club elected to bat first and was bowled out for 135 runs in 47.5 overs. Among the bowlers for Manikumar Cricket Club, Prateek Rajaneni picked up 4 wickets while conceding 23 runs in 8.5 overs, and Kanukuntla Sekhar Babu claimed 3 wickets by giving away 20 runs in 10 overs.
Chasing a target of 136 runs, Manikumar Cricket Club reached 138 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 39.1 overs to secure the win. Kongari Sri Vidhath scored 37 runs off 100 balls with 4 boundaries, while Vedas Vuradi contributed 32 runs off 54 balls with 6 boundaries, playing crucial roles in the team's triumph.
