Batting first, Azad CC posted 201/8 in their allotted 50 overs. Manikumar CC bowler Prateek Rajaneni put up a stellar bowling performance, taking 5 wickets while conceding just 38 runs in his 10 overs.
Chasing a target of 202 runs, Manikumar CC found themselves in deep trouble early on, slumping to 59 for 7. However, captain Tarun Reddy and Vanam Prabhat Naidu rescued the team with remarkable fighting spirit. Captain Nagaram Tarun Reddy scored 33 runs off 43 balls, including 6 boundaries. Meanwhile, Vanam Prabhat Naidu played an unbeaten knock of 51 runs off 41 balls, featuring 8 fours and 1 six. Powered by their resilient partnership, Manikumar CC eventually reached 209 runs, getting all out in 49.3 overs.
