Grand celebrations for the 96th birth anniversary of Padma Vibhushan and musical legend Dr. Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna are being organized by the National Music Artists Association in Hyderabad.
Special events have been arranged on September 18 from 4 PM onwards at the main hall of Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha in Chikkadpally. On this occasion, the unprecedented services rendered by Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna to the Telugu music world will be commemorated. Prominent figures are set to praise his services in taking classical music to global heights through his innovative vocal style.
Malkajgiri MP Eatala Rajender, former MP Dr. G. Ranjith Reddy, retired IAS officer Dr. K.V. Ramanachary, along with prominent personalities from various fields, music scholars, and artists, will participate in these celebrations. As part of the event, musical performances by various renowned music scholars, singers, and instrumentalists will be held. The organizers stated that artists and music enthusiasts who have provided exceptional services to the field of music will be felicitated.
