TRINET NEWS, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, September 10: During the ongoing Telangana Assembly sessions, BRS MLAs and MLCs wearing black T-shirts and badges attempted to enter the assembly premises. When police stopped them, they used abusive language, engaged in arguments, resorted to high-handedness, and made inappropriate remarks against Legislative Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar. Protests erupted across Telangana demanding the dismissal of BRS MLC Tata Madhu.
Amidst these developments, Mala and Madiga communities in Yadadri Bhuvangiri district united and staged a protest besieging KCR's farmhouse, demanding that he take responsibility for the incident. After they left, the premises touched by Dalits was sprinkled with turmeric water to purify it, which critics slammed as promoting untouchability. They stated that this incident proves KCR holds discrimination rather than affection toward Dalits. They recalled that despite promises to make a Dalit the Chief Minister if Telangana was formed, it was never fulfilled, serving as evidence of the betrayal and cheating of Dalits.
They demanded that KCR should issue an unconditional apology to Dalits through the press immediately. Otherwise, Mala and Madiga communities across the district will unite, burn effigies, and once again lay siege to KCR's farmhouse with thousands of people, they warned.
