Hyderabad, Trinet News, September 17: State Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has alleged that the Kalvakuntla gang was caught red-handed in their election affidavit. The Minister criticized KCR as a land grabber who grew from owning zero acres to assets worth thousands of crores. He questioned how KCR, who stated in his 2004 Karimnagar Lok Sabha election affidavit that he did not own a single acre of land, came to possess lands worth thousands of crores now.
Minister Ponguleti countered the remarks made by BRS party leaders on X (formerly Twitter) claiming that KCR was born into a feudal family with hundreds of acres. Sharing KCR's past election affidavit on X, the Minister stated that KCR's affidavits themselves clearly show how his lands increased massively during the Telangana movement and the subsequent decade in power.
Demanding answers from Ktr, whom he accused of lying, the Minister questioned how the KCR family amassed assets worth lakhs of crores while the Telangana movement activists were left with debts during the decade-long BRS rule. He asked if this was not achieved by plundering government lands, poor people's lands, and Dalits' assigned lands.
Fuming at KTR, the Minister asked whether the Kalvakuntla family illegally acquired assets worth lakhs of crores on the foundation of activists' sacrifices while KTR falsely claims that KCR had hundreds of acres from birth. Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy challenged them to clarify whether they committed fraud by writing false statements in election affidavits or if they are lying to the public now.
