Hyderabad, September 23 (Trinet News): To mark the birth anniversary of legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, the 'Jawahar Cine Gana Lahari - Season 17' musical event was grandly held on Wednesday. The Kala Lalithakala Vedika at Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha in Chikkadpally served as the venue for this musical concert.
Organized under the leadership of singer and organizer Dhola Jawahar Babu, singers enthralled the audience by rendering melodious classic and contemporary film songs. The event proceeded with great enthusiasm throughout, amid applause from music lovers.
Telangana City Civil Court Superintendent Anjani Devi attended the program as the chief visitor. Artist and Swara Kinnera Sharada Award recipient Dr. Trinath Rao participated as another chief guest. Malladi Usha provided karaoke musical support.
The guests commended that paying a grand tribute to Akkineni Nageswara Rao through film music was highly appreciable. The musical event, which lasted from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM, saw the participation of artists, singers, and music enthusiasts.
