Hyderabad, Chikkadpally, Trinet News August 27: Telangana State Department of Language and Culture Director Dr. Enugu Narasimha Reddy stated that S. Janaki has left an indelible mark on the film industry. As a tribute to the renowned playback singer, the 'Swaranivali' event was organized by the Ananda Bhairavi Cultural and Social Organization at Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha in Chikkadpally.
Attending the event as the chief guest, Enugu Narasimha Reddy garlanded Janaki's portrait and paid rich tributes. Speaking on the occasion, he said that even though Janaki is physically no more, she remains etched forever in the hearts of the people through her songs. Tirumala Bank Chairman Vanganuri Chandrasekhar, M.N. Aditya, Koneru Rangaraju, and others participated in the event. Later, playback singers Malavika Pantula and Sandeep were felicitated grandly.
Prior to the meeting, film songs performed by various singers under the direction of prominent international singer Sharda Sai captivated the audience.
