Chikkadpally, Trinet News, August 19: The "Sealwell Cine Suswaralu - 89" program was jointly organized at Thyagaraya Gana Sabha in Chikkadpally by the R.R. Foundation, Sealwell Corporation, and Shrutalaya Arts Foundation, with support from the Department of Language and Culture, Telangana.
Telangana State Planning Board Vice-Chairman Chinna Reddy and MLC Sirikonda Madhusudhana Chary attended the event as chief guests and inaugurated it by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Speaking on the occasion, they stated that Janaki holds a unique and special recognition in the film industry.
Prior to the meeting, a special musical concert titled "Kalaimamani Janakamma Sweet Memories," conducted by noted singer Amani, mesmerized the audience as singers performed various cinematic melodies. Later, "S. Janaki Inspiration Awards" were presented to playback singers who have entertained the film industry with their voices and songs for the past 50 years.
Prominent playback singers Vijayalakshmi Sharma, Nimbamuri Krishna, Venu Srirangam, Chintalapalli Sridharacharyulu, and anchor Vinay Babu, among others, participated in the event.
