HYDERABAD, NACHARAM, September 05 (Trinet News): Residents of Brahmapuri Colony, located within the Shanti Sainagar Division, have expressed immense happiness following the sanction of ₹14 lakhs for the construction of an underground drainage system. Locals stated that the works were approved with the cooperation of Uppal Constituency Congress Party In-charge Mandamula Parameshwar Reddy.
The drainage works were officially launched on Saturday under the leadership of Division Congress President S.V. Krishna Kittu. Speaking on the occasion, he noted that Brahmapuri Colony had seen no development over the past ten years. He recalled that issues concerning drainage, CC roads, streetlights, and drinking water in the colony were brought to the attention of Parameshwar Reddy during the 'Praja Palana – Basti Bata' program held in March, following which Reddy had directed officials to resolve the problems.
With the commencement of the underground drainage works, colony residents broke coconuts, distributed sweets, and expressed their joy, extending their gratitude to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Parameshwar Reddy.
