Hyderabad, Trinet News, September 6: Folk dancer Madhuri Rathod has attempted suicide. She fell into severe distress after the police failed to arrest fellow folk dancer Eshwar Sai. The incident came to light late, occurring three days after she filed a complaint against Eshwar Sai.
It is known that a case was registered against folk dancer Eshwar Sai at the Narsingi police station on August 22. Eshwar Sai approached the Telangana High Court seeking anticipatory bail in the case registered against him.
Victim Madhuri Rathod expressed anguish, stating that he cheated her after promising marriage under false pretenses. She accused the police of showing negligence by not arresting him. Eshwar Sai has been absconding since the case was registered, and the police are searching for him.
