HALIA: To create awareness among the public and students about environmental protection, Shri Shloka School organized a program to distribute clay Ganesha idols.
Students of Shri Shloka School, along with Chairman Dr. Kukudala Anjaneyulu, visited the Halia Police Station and presented a clay Ganesha idol to SI K. Sai Prashanth. Clay idols were also distributed to police personnel, their family members, school students, and parents.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kukudala Anjaneyulu advised people to use clay Ganesha idols instead of those made with Plaster of Paris and chemical colors, which harm the environment. He stated that using clay idols helps reduce water pollution and allows everyone to contribute to nature conservation. Noting that nature is a precious gift, he said everyone has the responsibility to provide a clean environment for future generations. He added that the initiative was undertaken to instill a sense of environmental responsibility in students from a young age.
